Technology. Innovation. Design. Maine.
TEDx Dirigo approached us to inquire about hosting the annual event in the circus training facilities and whether or not we would be able to perform in front of the 400+ person crowd. We of course accepted and took the back seat role of producing the event as TEDx took care of setting up the entire space.
We used our minds, with the help of our creative agency, KINGSPOKE, to use the event to crowd source a creative discovery exercise to assist in our rebrand from Circus Arts America to the next phase. Prior to the event we placed a 4x6 postcard and red Sharpie on every seat in the house and following the break, Josh introduced the exercise to the crowd, asking some of the most innovative thinkers in Maine to jot down their thoughts, feelings and inspirations during the performance.
Following Josh and Kat, the postcards were collected and installed underneath the vinyl logo creating a community thought provoking art installation that was critical to our path from Circus Arts America to Circus Maine.
